I have been given the opportunity to design a 4 bedroom beach house in gorgeous Long Beach Island, NJ and I am beyond thrilled!!! I mean, what a dream! I am obsessed with the beach and all costal design elements. I was brought in to the project right after Christmas last year. My clients had just purchased the house and were looking for help renovating and finishing the project. I have consulted all along the way through floor plan changes, removal of walls, paint, room layouts and design, construction and renovation. We are nearing the finish line now but before I reveal the final pictures I wanted to introduce you to the space. So without further adieu, may I present the #lbibeachhouseproject!!!!!

This is the Living Room. Lots of windows but dated trim and paint colors made it looks so blah.

Living Room-Opposite side of the room.

Fireplace View--Priming had already started at this point.

Possibly my most favorite spot in the house-The Window Seat. This is in a hallway on the front side of the house. Definitely isolated and kind of odd in its placement but a cool feature, nonetheless.

This is the space directly off the kitchen used as a Dining Room. You can see the blue tape on the wall I was using as a visual for my suggestion to tear part of the wall down. The staircase lies on the other side of the wall and after that is the sad isolated window seat. Opening this wall would allow access to the stairs up as well as allow light from the window seat to pour into this space. Directly though those French doors is the Living Room. Directly behind me is the kitchen.

The other side of that Dining Room wall. The window seat is to the right, the stair access is to the left and straight ahead is the big living room accessible from the Dining Room and this hallway.

This is the Downstairs Guest Room if I were to turn 180 degrees from the last hall picture. It's very large and would have made sense as a main floor master but the bathroom is not attached and is in the hall. So Guest Room it is!

This is the Master Bedroom. The previous owners graciously left all of their amazing 80s south Florida furniture. Hahaha....Again, great light, windows and space. Not an amazing paint color and you may see from the picture but the carpet is a sort of a faded, spotted and stained pink monstrosity.

View #2 of the Master. Can you see that glorious floor covering??

This is sun drenched room just off of the master. I am calling it the Sitting Room. Again, left furniture was kind of blocking all my shots, but you get the picture.

Sitting Room, view #2.
