Trying a Trend

I recently read that you should ALWAYS hang an extra long shower curtain to make your bathroom ceiling look higher and your room look bigger. I love these tricks of the eye and I'm always down for a $20 upgrade so I decided to give it a shot.

No curtain.

Here is my "shamefully" short old shower curtain. Who knew I should have been embarrassed??

Finding an extra long curtain was no easy feat! Searches led me to mostly regular length curtains so research took forever as I had to check the dimensions of each item. It was recommended in the article that a plain white curtain is the best bet but I didn't want something boring. I found this pleated option on Amazon but purchased it from Target for about $1 more so I had the ease of returning it if it didn't work out. Pro tip: Measure you actual shower first! Whoops!!

Thanks to the pleats, a pair of scissors solved my problem.
